The girls walked 2.1 miles this weekend. When we weren’t walking, Patty found time to lounge around on the couch 
Lucy seems to expect treats every time I visit. Can’t imagine why.
They have gone 9.6 miles with Run That Mutt since Sept. 1.

Patty has been very brave on her walks this weekend! Good girl, Patty! It’s cute how sometimes they are so excited to get out the patio door that they try to go through at the same time and end up getting stuck for a second

It’s been well below zero all weekend, and the girls don’t like to be out in the yard for too long! We’ve still been going for quick walks in the morning, though. They still like to get out and about for a bit.

The girls are doing well! They get the most excited not when I grab their leashes but when I grab plastic bags! I guess if I have bags I must be very serious about a walk!

The girls are doing well. Patty was so excited when I got there this afternoon that she ran around and chased her tail. It was nice to see her so happy!

Lucy and Patty have been spending most of the day outside. They are always excited to come in!
On our walk today, a little girl saw Patty and Lucy and said, “Look, one dog has its tail up, and one has its tail down!” I thought that accurately described them!

The girls and I walk for about a mile every morning. Today I brushed them, and they loved that! Especially Patty. Lucy was more concerned about getting a treat out of the Kong.

The girls are hanging out inside today because it’s so hot. They have been very good as always! I took them out for a very short stroll last night and they were happy to get any kind of walk in. I didn’t want to push Lucy too far.

The dogs were inside today because I was worried it would be too hot. They were thrilled to go for a walk later!
