Charity Distance Festival Doggie Dash 5K (+8K)

- 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM – Packet Pick-up & Check In
- 8:00 AM – Doggie Dash 5K & Doggie Dash 8K Start
- 8:45 AM – Fun Run Start
- 9:00 AM – 5K & 8K Start
- 10:30 AM – Course Closes

Cost: $35 + $3.10 processing fee
(Doggie Dash 8K: $45 + $3.70 processing fee)

Online registration closes on May 11th at 9 PM. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted at packet pick-up and race day.
Nonprofits provide important programs and services to our community for the needs not met by the government or other organizations.
Unfortunately, they can’t all have their own races to help raise support for their missions.
That’s why Fit & Able is staging the Charity Distance Festival at no charge to the participating nonprofits to help them raise much needed revenue and provide them the opportunity to raise awareness about their efforts too.
Fit & Able loves family fitness and whose four-legged furry friend isn’t part of the family? Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 8K! For only $10 per pup it will be happy trails for both runners and their dogs.
AND, the full $10 dog fee goes to support participating charities!
The course is on WakeMed Soccer Park cross country course with dirty, grass, and natural trails; conditions depend on the weather prior to the event. The course is NOT USATF certified. GPS tracking apps are not suitable for measuring course distances accurately.

All participants will receive a finishers medal and gift guaranteed if registered by May 5th. Event shirts are available separately for $15 until April 28th.
