“Can we go, already?” When I got there today and knocked, Eli did some whispered “wuffs.” Then when he realized it was me, he was so happy to go out and see Ace! They ran/walked 5.10 miles. They make a good pair running together. Eli was a very good boy – no pulling or barking […]
Pretending to be interested in something other than the camera. Eli has been a very good boy. He seems to know our “routine” now and fits in really well.
I wanted to get a marathon training run in this morning, and I had the perfect candidate for a running buddy … Eli and I ran 13.14 miles. He was perfectly behaved and ran right at my side the whole time. He did a very dramatic springer leap over all the puddles we came across. […]
Eli has walked 5.25 miles so far this trip. He has been wearing his backpack. He and Ace were really tired last night, and it is about 8:15 right now and Eli is curled up at my feet. He wants to play with the cats so bad, but they will not play 🙂
Eli was sportin’ his backpack on his walk today. He heels very, very well. Good boy, Eli! He seems calmer than last time he was here. Sometimes he whines, sometimes he wants to play and sometimes he just lies there 🙂 My cats completely ignore him so far.
Eli enjoyed his morning walk with Ace and I. I like the slip lead. Eli must’ve had a fun weekend because he has been very relaxed. Almost no crying! I will try biking with him this afternoon.
Eli has really enjoyed his walks. We passed a small dog that I’m sure he would’ve loved to play with, but he did not pull.
Eli has been good about relaxing inside. We’ve been trying to get outside a lot while also avoiding mud and puddles.
