beneath your feet and the crispness of the air on an September day?

Trail Dog Distance Classic is the perfect way to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the fall season with your pooch.

Richard Bong State Recreation Area is the host for this Annual Canicross Event. Once designated to be a jet fighter base, the park is fittingly named after Major Richard I. Bong, a Poplar, WI native who was America’s leading air ace during World War II.

The recreation area encompasses 4,515 acres of rolling grassland, savanna, wetlands, and scattered woodland. Nature is on display all around and is constantly changing with the seasons.

Once done we will have hot food and drinks waiting for you. As always a great social time as well.
