Bark in the Park 5K and 1-mile Dog Walk at Harrisburg’s City Island
Bark in the Park is a dog friendly 5K and 1-mile race that raises money for animals in need through Animal Care PA.
The race begins at City Island and goes through Harrisburg’s Riverfront Park.
Water will be provided along the course for runners and their dogs. Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash or shorter. No retractable dog leashes are allowed.
The top three males and females in each age group will receive prizes.
There will also be a pet costume contest with prizes in multiple categories including best dressed, best duo and best dressed group (humans and dogs). To be eligible for the costume contest, you must be registered for the 5K race or 1-mile walk.
