The boys walked 2.6 miles Monday. Tucker thought it was a bit hot out. They sat nicely in front of this tree. Then they both peed on it. 8.4 miles since Sept. 1
I always get compliments on how well the dogs listen! They walked 3.25 miles.
Baxter was enjoying himself out in the cooler weather! He’s a good boy when we pass other dogs. 1.96 miles today 11.27 since Sept. 1
This picture was actually taken on Monday. I didn’t attempt to juggle two big dogs, an umbrella, poop bags and a camera! The boys walked very, very well, however. It was cute because they walked so nicely right by me like they wanted to be under the umbrella. Baxter was moving much faster than usual! […]
The boys were very excited to get out for a walk! By the time we were almost home, Tucker was worn out. It’s hard to be a black dog in the sun! We walked 2.55 miles.
Ranger was excited during the first half of his walk – there were squirrels everywhere – but he settled down. He sits perfectly if we have to stop and wait for a car. He also ignores other dogs that bark at us. Miles today: 2.15 Since Sept. 1: 6.3
The dogs walked 3.27 miles and were very well behaved. People always say to me, are those all your dogs? I wish!
Baxter was a good boy and ignored all the little yappy dogs we passed. We walked 1.24 miles. Miles since Sept. 1: 4.27
Bailey has a fan club! Someone recognized her today from her car and yelled, “Hey, Bailey!” The dogs enjoyed walking in the wind – lots of interesting smells! Miles: 3.3
Good thing these two don’t mind the rain! Well, at least they tolerate it, right Ren? Ranger and I walked 2.15 miles. He wants to chase the squirrels so bad, but he’s a good boy and heels so well. He is very calm when we walk by other dogs (and those dogs are usually barking […]
Cali worked on sitting as we waited for cars to go by and when bikers passed. She has the routine down well! We also walked on the bridge over the Interstate so she could get used to the sound of traffic. Didn’t seem to bother her! We walked 3.11 miles.
Baxter can’t wait for it to cool off. He’s been doing a good job ignoring other dogs on his walks. Sometimes when a dog is freaking out along the fence, Baxter just casually pees right on the fence and then moves along. Ha! Today we walked 1.73 miles.
