We ran by some kids who were out sledding, and they wanted to pet Stormy. She just sat down on her own and let them pet her. She loved the attention!

Chester was surprised when he got to join us on our 3-mile run today. Stormy likes it when Chester gets to come along, too!

Chester was surprised when I grabbed his leash and said, “You too!” He seemed to enjoy himself on our run, and Stormy and I thought it was fun to have him along. Chester made himself very comfortable on the couch when we got back!

Holy crap was it windy this afternoon! I thought Stormy, Ace and I were running at a good pace until we turned around and it felt like we hit a brick wall.

Help support 4 Luv of Dog Rescue by attending its gala and silent auction from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the NDSU Alumni Center in Fargo.
Hundreds of items will be available for bidding, including a Run That Mutt gift basket with a gift card for free walks, runs and pet sitting.
Other items I’m excited about include kayaks, gift baskets from area businesses such as Natural Pet Center and Bubba and Company and a one-week stay in Palm Springs!
Admission is a free-will donation. Stop by for some food, music and drinks!
Some of 4 Luv of Dog Rescue’s dogs for adoption include Stormy the lab mix and Calvin the retriever mix.
