I was so proud of Hope ignoring the other dogs we passed. They were barking at us from their yards. We went 1.50 miles.
Hope was a good girl on her run. She tried to pull towards one other dog, but overall she is making good progress. We walked by that dog a second time, and she stayed right at my side. Good girl, Hope! We went 1.55 miles. She was ready for her lunch when she got back!
Hope ran and walked 1.55 miles. She got a little excited when she heard some dogs barking, but otherwise she was very good! She stays so calm when people walk by.
Hope thought it was pretty hot out yesterday afternoon. We ran some and then walked. We were in the residential area for our run this week. She seems calmer in the neighborhood areas vs. out in the open field areas where there must be more smells. She was a good girl. We went 1.75 miles.
Hope wanted to chase some birds and squirrels, but she did a good job ignoring the ducks. We didn’t come across any other dogs today, just people running and biking. She is always so good around the people we pass. We ran 2.16 miles.
Hope was a good girl today! I notice she doesn’t try to pull and chase birds as much as she used to. Maybe it just depends on where we run. Lately we’ve been running through the neighborhoods. We passed some men doing yard work and some people having a garage sale, and she is always […]
Hope ran 1.55 miles Saturday. There were lot of little dogs out, so it was a good challenge for Hope to run calmly at my side. I thought she did well. I’ve been using the prong collar with her and not the Gentle Leader. That seems to work well.
Hope ran 1.79 miles. She thinks it’s getting warm out, though! I agree! We saw a few little dogs out today. I kept her on a pretty short leash so she did not have a chance to be naughty! When we get back, she always runs right to her bowl and waits for her lunch!
Hope just quietly walked over to the door to see me, wagging her tail. I guess she remembers the routine! She was pretty excited to go for a run. I used the prong collar today, and she was very good. We ran 1.65 miles.
Hope and I went 1.58 miles. The sidewalks were very icy, so we ran on the grass. She is so cute in her Thundershirt!
Hope ran 1.83 miles. I’m glad her leg healed up so quickly. She was excited when we passed a dog in a yard today, but I just kept running like the dog didn’t exist and she forgot about it right away. Good girl! Hope has gone 78.52 miles with Run That Mutt!
Hope did not seem to be sore today, but maybe she just wasn’t showing it. I hope she is feeling much better. We walked 1.48 miles.
Hope ran 2.45 miles today. She seemed pretty relaxed today and wasn’t pulling on her Gentle Leader. She also didn’t seem to mind the colder weather. She probably likes it!
Hope ran 1.70 miles. No surprise that we didn’t really see anyone else out today – just those geese again! I promise there will be a new picture of Hope next time! Hope has gone 72.76 miles with Run That Mutt!
Hope ran 1.7 miles today. I didn’t get a new picture of her, so this is an old one. There were tons of geese out today, and she is good around them. She would obviously love to chase them if she could, though!
