Dupont and Ace ran 3.99 miles Monday. Maybe that will be one of our last hot-weather runs!
We went on a very leisurely walk this afternoon Buddy has walked 30.87 miles with Run That Mutt since September 2010.
Buddy even got Josh to go on our afternoon walk! It is still very windy! Lots of things for the dogs to smell!
A couple people have stopped us to ask or comment on how the dogs must be getting in shape for hunting. Little do they know, Lloyd is naturally always in good shape! On Thursday he ran 2.47 miles.
“No, we will not acknowledge you or each other unless you put that camera away.” Lloyd ran 2.19 miles today.
Baxter walked 1.78 miles Friday. Some kids had a little yappy dog at the playground on a retractable leash. I just knew it was going to get away from them and come charging up to us, and sure enough, it did! Sometimes I worry that Baxter might not appreciate being charged, but he just stood […]
Lloyd and Ace get along great. They have a lot of similarities On Thursday they ran 2.16 miles. I have to say, Ace is not quite as fast as Lloyd! Lloyd has gone 374.9 miles with Run That Mutt!
Rudy seems to be a bit unsure of himself so sometimes he reacts with a tough-guy attitude (“I’ll scare you away so you can’t hurt me!”). Today he had a very slow introduction to my dog Ace. First Ace was on the other side of the street. Then we walked behind Ace (and Josh) and […]
Dupont looked back a few times as we ran down the road, but then he didn’t worry about his mom anymore! Although, he was wondering where everyone went when we got back! He gets along very well with Ace. We ran 4.24 miles.
Boy ran 2.12 miles this week. Here is an old pic from a few weeks ago. I’ll have to bring Ace along again sometime soon, because Boy absolutely loves running with another dog!
We ran in the rain but there was no thunder or lightning. It was cooler with the rain so we appreciated that! We went 4 miles. Ace came along, too!
Baxter and Ace walked 1.35 miles Friday. They did OK in the heat, but there was lots of huffing and puffing!
Sammi has been a good girl leaving her paw alone for the most part. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her too much. She was excited to chase Ace’s tennis ball and to play tug with his stuffed toys. They slept downstairs last night and then crawled onto the bed in the morning
