We went for two walks yesterday, and Sammi and Ace played and played. There were two very tired dogs by bedtime. Sammi hasn’t been in the kennel since Friday night. I’m sure she’s happy about that!

As you can see, Sammi and the cats are very comfortable with one another.
I put her in our kennel last night, not because she needed to be in there but to help her get used to being kenneled at other people’s homes. She was good and tired by the time she went to bed, and I stocked it full of goodies. She went right to sleep and I did not hear a peep out of her.
She did chew her blanket a bit. I’m not sure if she did that slowly over a few hours or in a matter of seconds after waking up. Either way, it’s probably my own fault for putting it in there with her.

Sammi is being a good girl while enjoying herself. She is a lot less interested in the cats this time. Playing tug of war and wrestling with Ace is more important, I guess. She also loves to go biking with my hands free bike leash. Good girl!

Sammi biked like a pro! Must be all that Rollerblading she does! We went 4.5 miles using my hands free bike leash.

And why didn’t I just keep her when she was my foster dog??
Sammi and Ace have been playing. I might try taking Sammi out for a bike ride if she’s comfortable. I tried her in the kennel for just a few minutes and pretended to leave. She did a bit of crying, but nothing too bad. Ace was in his kennel right beside her.

Sasha is up for adoption. She got to go for a walk today before attending an adoption event. She met lots of new dogs and people and enjoyed all the attention. She hasn’t found her new home quite yet. I love Sasha and after starting a dog walking business she was the first rescue dog I ran with.

Boy did not appreciate the hot weather today. Me either! He was ready to curl up in his kennel for a nap when we got back.

Chester and Sissy got to go outside before Stormy, who waited patiently in her kennel before her run.

Dixie was a good girl on her walk. She seemed glad to get outside for some fresh air. A little girl at the park saw us and Dixie took advantage of all the attention!

Boy and I enjoyed the cooler weather today. We ran 2.9 miles.
I always get comments about how pretty or how nice Boy is when he and I are out for runs. Today a man said, “That is such a nice-looking dog!”
It’s true. Boy is always very well behaved and focused while we are out and about. Plus, he is very cute. When I receive compliments about him, I pretend he is my dog.
