The dogs were very good, but they will be so happy to see their family!
Riley and Tori are doing well

They are always so excited to get out of their “cubby.” They’ve really enjoyed their walks and hanging out in the backyard.
Stormy

Stormy enjoyed her run with Ace! What a good girl! She’s looking for a home. For more information about her, send me an email at info@runthatmutt.com.
Visits with Tori and Riley
July 30, 2009
The yard is a little wet, but the dogs have been very tolerant when I wipe their paws. We went for a good walk this morning and I was impressed that the dogs stopped and sat while we waited for some cars to pass. They were also good when we passed by some yappy dogs and a pitbull.

The dogs enjoyed their time in the backyard today. They have been very well behaved and trying to soak up all the attention they can get!
Dog adoption in Fargo
July 29, 2009
Stormy hasn’t found her new home yet, but she’s waiting! She was a good girl at the dog show last night, making lots of new friends. She enjoyed going for a run while I used my hands free bike leash.
Walking Riley and Tori
July 29, 2009
The dogs love to get out for their walks. We had another successful walk this morning. We passed some little dogs, and Riley and Tori were fine when we walked on the other side of the street.
They both seem to have a great time no matter what’s going on – petting, walks or playing in the yard.
Tori has been eating all her food. Good girl!

Don’t forget to come meet my foster dog Stormy tonight at the West Fargo dog show! 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Elmwood Park.
Pet sitting Riley and Tori

Riley loves to chase a tennis ball. I have a feeling he could do this for hours.
The dogs have been barking less when I visit because they know it’s me. They are always happy to get out of their “cubby,” but when I leave they don’t mind going back to their spot.
Riley has been good about sharing the water.

Riley and Tori are doing well! They are really lucky to have a big yard to run in. We went for a walk this morning, and the dogs were well behaved (except for a bit of pulling). We did not see any other dogs on our walk today. I got Riley to chase me around the backyard, and I’m sure the neighbors thought I was nuts if they saw me.
The dogs love attention!

Stormy is my foster dog. She is up for adoption with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue. Stormy is an active girl and also one of the smartest dogs I’ve worked with. She loves to go for walks, runs and biking sessions. She also loves obedience. For more information about her, visit 4 Luv of Dog’s site.
Stormy and other dogs for adoption will be at the West Fargo Dog Show from about 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 28 in Elmwood Park.
Beautiful dogs
July 24, 2009
I forgot to mention that while out on one of our walks this week, a man and woman were out walking. The man was staring at the dogs and then he said, “What beautiful, beautiful dogs!”
I smiled, pretended they were my dogs and said “Thank you!”
Zoe and Roma outside
July 23, 2009
The girls like to relax in the yard when it’s not too hot.
The gang
July 23, 2009
We’ve gone on shorter walks today because the dogs think it’s pretty hot out (I think so too). When I grab their leashes, they all come and sit right in front of me ready to go! Monte has been a very good boy. He’s climbed into my lap and he also gets the others to play.
Monte, Addie and Myla
July 23, 2009
We only hung out inside for a few minutes before heading over to the dog park. I didn’t have my camera along, but Monte and Myla had a great time chasing a puggle. I have never seen Myla run so fast. Addie was more independent and spent her time sniffing everything and following a shih tzu around.

Monte has gotten much more comfortable.

Monte
July 22, 2009
Monte is starting to feel more comfortable. He was a little stressed at first, but that didn’t last long. I think it helps that Myla and Addie know how to make themselves at home! We’re going to go for a walk and possibly visit the dog park.
Visits with Roma and Zoe
July 22, 2009
The girls are doing well. I tried to get them to play with some toys, but they prefer to be petted or brushed. And they love their walks! They appreciate going for their walk every evening. I’ve also been brushing Roma almost every day. The neighbor dog has been peaking its nose under the fence at us. Roma and Zoe don’t pay much attention to it.
